The Edit: Mill Rd. Powder Room

Welcome to The Edit — our shoppable deep dive into some of our favorite spaces.

This moody powder room from our Mill Road project is a study in how layers of texture, tone, and light can transform even the smallest room into something truly special. The star of the space is the mural-style wallpaper, a romantic, woodland-inspired pattern that wraps the room in deep greens and burnished ochres. Its painterly feel adds movement and a sense of history, creating an enveloping backdrop that immediately draws you in.

To balance that richness, we chose a fluted marble sink that brings both structure and softness. The ribbed edges catch the light beautifully, giving the stone an almost textile-like quality, while the veining adds depth and dimension. Above it, a vintage-inspired mirror with a gentle arch nods to classic European shapes, and its warm brass frame catches the low, moody light just enough to glow. A delicately scalloped sconce in aged brass ties everything together, and its soft, diffused light sets the tone for the entire room.

The faucet, wall-mounted in unlacquered brass, is simple but striking. Over time, it will age gracefully and develop a patina that makes the space feel even more storied. Altogether, it is a little jewel box: intimate, layered, and quietly dramatic. This is the kind of space that proves how much impact thoughtful materials and strong design choices can make, no matter the size of the room
